Frequently asked questions about email hosting
You need to set up your username and password for your newly purchased mailbox by following these steps:
Go to the mail manager page
Enter a username for your email address, for example: [email protected], and create a password.
Once your username (email address) is created,
you can check your email directly from your enom mail manager page or you can login to webmail.yourdomainname.com and enter your full email and password.
You can now start sending emails to [email protected]
Email: Use any web browser to go to http://webmail.yourdomainname.com and then enter your email address and password.
Email Client: Set up your email client on your computer, laptop, phone or tablet to access your email.
You can use various email clients on your computer, laptop, phone or tablet. You will need to know the following settings to set up your email client:
Your username: your full email address (e.g. [email protected])
Your Password: The password you use to log into your email account.
Incoming email server: you can choose POP or IMAP (don't use both)
POP server: pop.yourdomainname.com, incoming port: 110
o IMAP server: imap.yourdomainname.com, incoming port: 143.
Outgoing mail server:
SMTP server: smtp.yourdomainname.com, outbound port: 587 (if port 587 doesn't work, try port 25).
SMTP Authentication: In some cases, clients will need to enable SMTP Authentication. In this case, enter your username ([email protected]) and email password.
You can continue to use your preferred personal email address using email forwarding:
Log in to your account and go to the Email Manager page.
Click the email (or user) Inbox or your domain and go to the Forwarding tab (section).
You can choose to forward all of your current email addresses to one email using the * catch all line, or you can choose a separate email address (or username).
Click the Save All button to save your new forwarding settings.
Go to your email manager and select the username you want to remove:
Keep in mind that after you delete a username, you also delete all emails, contacts, and calendar appointments associated with that username.
We currently only offer an annual subscription to our email service, so you will be billed on an annual basis.
No, email service can only be purchased for use with the domain names listed on your account.
You can always add additional email addresses to your account by choosing additional plans. The price will be prorated to sync with the expiration date of your original Email purchase. For example, if you purchase additional email accounts one month after your original purchase, the price will be prorated for 11 months of service.
If you are a reseller using our API, you can purchase any number of email addresses. However, your prices will not be prorated at this time. Instead, a new kit (order) will be created for your purchase.
